Fanatics exclusive blaster boxes are once again being produced for this week’s release of Topps Series 2 Baseball.
As was the case in Series 1, boxes contain nine packs of 12 cards with an aqua parallel in each pack that are only available through the boxes sold at Fanatics.com. Each pack holds 10 base cards, a Stars of Tomorrow insert and the parallel card.
The company also introduced memorabilia redemption cards in Series 1 and those are back as well. One out of every 251 boxes contains a redemption good for an autographed jersey, baseball, photo or other item.
Among the autographs that are part of the redemption are jerseys signed by Reggie Jackson, Mookie Betts and Anthony Volpe, baseballs signed by Mike Trout, Gunnar Henderson and George Brett and a Frank Thomas autographed bat. A graphic with the full list of the memorabilia items is available on the order page.

Two friends in Southern California used to love visiting a local shop that had all kinds of hidden treasures spread abound.
When the store shut down during COVID, they made the owner an offer and bought it. The old wax didn’t disappoint but they decided to open up a new shop instead–and then moved to their current location.
You won’t find two more enthusiastic boosters for collecting than these guys:

Harvey Haddix pitched one of baseball’s greatest games 59 springs ago: a 12-inning perfect game. Famously, though, he wound up losing it in the 13th since his Pittsburgh teammates couldn’t muster any offense either.
So what happened to his uniform? It apparently didn’t get passed down to the minor leagues as so many old uniforms did. Haddix took it home but it appears as if it was stolen by a scammer.
Uni-Watch contributor and Haddix fan Steve Stout recalls a conversation he had with Haddix in the early 1990s.
