Beware of fake 2000 Skybox Impact Tom Brady cards.  One eBay seller is listing a card with a PSA cert number that has been invalidated “due to its use on a known counterfeit in the market.”  The holders are not authentic PSA slabs.

One buyer who recently purchased a copy of the same card from the same Minnesota-based seller says the seller refused to refund his money and has listed and sold the same card/cert number multiple times. He says he was unsuccessful in his attempt to get a refund from eBay despite showing the invalid cert number.

eBay says buyers were busy buying Rob Gronkowski cards after the long time Tom Brady target announced his retirement earlier this week.  The company says sales of Gronk cards were up 252% while searches increased 360%.

Did you know….

Kevin Durant appeared on a card during his days at the University of Texas?

A reader sent in this poster issued during the 2006-07 season featuring the players and coaches on the Longhorns team.

The set was printed on cardboard with the Time Warner Cable logo at the bottom of the sheet. There are perforations between each player’s card.

The backs of each card contain a player bio and the Texas and Time Warner logos.

How many exist isn’t known but other images or information appears non-existent online.

The Boston Celtics jerseys from Game 1 of the Finals are now on the block through NBA Auctions. Bidding on the shirts worn by Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and the other team members during their 120-108 series opening win runs through July 14. 

Both nets from the Celts’ Game 3 win at TD Garden are also up for grabs through July 7.
