It stayed in the same family for more than 100 years. A photo album, passed down through the generations, mostly chronicles life as it was at the time, but there was something pretty special inside, too.
Two pages of photos from a trip to Detroit’s Navin Field where they caught a ballgame.
Now, those previously unknown photos–including a beauty of Ty Cobb taken by the family–are up for auction on eBay.

One of the first things sports card shops will do after a burglary is let other businesses in the area know exactly what was taken.
Scott Mann of American Dream Sports Cards in Haltom City, TX did just that after his store was broken into earlier this month. Two suspects had been caught on tape, one of them smashing the glass of a display case and sweeping dozens of cards into a bag.
Now, thanks to another nearby shop, there are suspects in the case.
The owners of Collectible Investments/Big Hit Breaks in Bedford, TX—about ten miles from Haltom City– say a woman came into their store Thursday night, offering to sell some of the cards they recognized as stolen from American Dream.
They were able to keep her occupied while calling police, who detained the woman and confiscated the cards as part of their investigation. Pictures taken by the store show her in handcuffs on the curb outside the shop.
A man driving the vehicle in which she was riding left the scene before police arrived.
WFAA-TV in Dallas talked with owner Scott Mann about the burglary:
