The Topps Now card commemorating Albert Pujols’ 700th home run sold 28,898 copies over the weekend, the highest print run of any card on the platform this year.
Available for 24 hours at Topps.com, the card of Pujols reaching the milestone shared only by Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth also ranks as the best-selling MLB Topps Now card since Wander Franco’s debut last year.
The Pujols card was sold from midday Saturday to midday Sunday, but several sellers have them available on eBay.

Christie’s auction house has opened a new department focused on collectibles.
“Department X” will offer auctions focused on rare collectibles across a number of genres including sports history, music, fashion and art.
The company will offer live previews in New York, as well as private selling exhibitions throughout the year.
“Department X builds on Christie’s understanding of popular culture, and strong worldwide performance in the Luxury category, following the recent success of Six Rings – Legacy of the GOAT, featuring rare Michael Jordan sneakers and collectibles,” the company stated in making the announcement.
There’s a 400-table show set for the David Mack Sports Complex at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY October 15-16.
