Notes: Bart Starr Museum Opens; Current, Former Stars Sign at Chantilly; McDavid Auction

There’s now a museum dedicated to Hall of Fame quarterback and two-time Super Bowl MVP Bart Starr.

Located on the campus of Rawhide Youth Services in New London, Wisconsin, the museum includes memorabilia from Starr’s long NFL career, the red 1967 Corvette he received for winning Super Bowl I and other items. The museum offers more of a personal touch, though, with hundreds of love notes Starr wrote to his wife Cherry, home video and other touches.

Starr was actively involved with Rawhide during his career and beyond.

WBAY-TV chatted with his son Bart Jr. and provided a look inside.

A fresh batch of Connor McDavid game-used items has hit the auction block ahead of Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

MeiGray Auctions is offering the gloves McDavid wore earlier this year, when he reached 900 career points. the helmet he wore when he scored his first point of the current season, game-used skates and other memorabilia.

Bidding is underway now.
