Can’t make it to Cooperstown this summer? We’ve got a book that will all but get you inside the exhibits.
Bert Sugar, who wrote The Sports Collector’s Bible–among the defininitve guides to baseball memorabilia in the 1970s, has authored a new book that transports readers inside the Baseball Hall of Fame.
With sequential exhibit photographs complemented by dramatic close-up images of the most fascinating artifacts on display in the Hall—including artifacts used by legends like Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, and many more—the Hall of Fame experience is captured in this 320-page commemorative work. Sugar adds his own prose to the memorabilia.
Ron Grillo has more on the book, including a chat with the author in The Rocky Mount Telegram.
