The owners of a new sports memorabilia outlet called Grayhawk Awards and Memorabilia believe they’re in the right place, with the right product at the right time.
John Sierra got the idea to get into the sports memorabilia business when he saw two football jerseys up for auction on eBay and spent $800. Turns out the autographed jerseys were fakes.
AZCentral.com says "that’s when the 53-year-old Scottsdale resident began searching for reputable suppliers who could guarantee authenticity. After months of investigation, he became an authorized dealer for three companies that have agreements with athletes."
