The biggest collector in the big leagues spends spring training getting ready for the season–and adding to his autograph and memorabilia hoard.
But he’s not the only player with a few things socked away.
UPDATE 3/11: Neshek featured on KARE-TV.
He is Everyman.
Everyman with a nasty slider and a sidearm delivery that drives American League hitters loopy.
We’ve written about Pat Neshek before, and are happy to report he’s still at it. Pitching–and collecting.
The one-time Twins season ticket holder is now a player who spends his down time trading autographs and memorabilia with fans via his web site. This spring he’s also hitting up some of the new players in camp for some autographs.
He told NaplesNews.com a little about his collection and how he became a sidewinder.
There’s also a story on Neshek the pitcher/blogger/collector at KARE11.com.
Meanwhile, Giants’ outfielder Aaron Rowand took time out from answering autograph requests by chatting with the San Jose Mercury-News about his own stuff–and a special connection with Walter Payton.
