Tony Richardson puts his collection of baseball memorabilia to good use–helping kids understand what the Negro Leagues were all about.
He has autographs, equipment, programs and cards in his collection. Tony Richardson is an avid fan of the old Negro Leagues and Jackie Robinson, in particular.
Yet he’s much more than just an accumulator of relics. Richardson spends much of his time using them to help spread the message to a generation that knows little about baseball’s often forgotten heroes.
Richardson says it’s not a black/white issue. In fact, he says at autograph signings he helps arrange, whites usually outnumber blacks.
