Jerseys worn in the NBA’s Christmas Day games this past season have begun to hit the auction block.
There were five games on the December 25 schedule, many of which included some top stars.
Among the jerseys up for auction are those donned by The Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City and New York Knicks.
Some of the auctions just launched while others are scheduled to close mid-month.
Bidding has been intense for a red Sixers jersey worn by Rookie of the Year Ben Simmons. With ten days remaining in the auction, the red road size 50 shirt has already passed $13,500.
Kevin Durant’s jersey from the Warriors’ win over the Cavs on Christmas Day had hit $10,000 in the first few days of bidding. Durant’s 25 led the Warriors to a win that day, with an injured Steph Curry missing the contest.
A jersey worn by Russell Westbrook in the first half of Oklahoma City’s win over Houston is also on the block.
Several dozen jerseys are in the auction including others worn by Karl-Anthony Towns, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Paul George.
Bidding is taking place on the NBA Auctions website.
