Little did we know it was the dawn of their first NBA championship season, but jerseys worn by the Toronto Raptors in one of the two Canada Series preseason games last year are now on the block at NBA Auctions.
The Raptors donned the red uniforms for their game at the Bell Center in Montreal on October 10, the fifth time Canada series games were played in Quebec. Among those up for auction are jerseys worn by Kawhi Leonard, Kyle Lowery, Pascal Siakam and Fred Van Vleet in Toronto’s 118-91 win over the New Jersey Nets.
“October 10/18 Brooklyn” is handwritten on the jock tags.
They aren’t the only Canada series jerseys up for bid, though. Those worn by the Portland Trailblazers in the first Canada Series game on September 29 in Vancouver are also up for grabs including one used by Damian Lillard.
“9/29 @ Raptors” is handwritten on the tag of the white jerseys.
The Blazers lost to the Raptors that night 122-104.
The jerseys are all registered into the NBA and MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program.
The auctions run through September 12 on the NBA Auctions website.
