Philip Schwalb had a great job. So why did a trip to Springfield, Massachusetts the day before 9/11 change his life–and max out his credit cards?
The Sports Museum of America — the nation’s first and only interactive, multimedia museum geared to just about every kind of game we play or watch — will open its doors in Lower Manhattan next month.
The museum was created in partnership with over 50 Halls of Fame and other sports groups and will include a variety of valuable sports memorabilia, some donated; some on loan.
Rare sports collectibles & memorabilia are housed throughout the museum.
The project began as a dream hatched just after a special visit its founder made to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on September 10, 2001.
