The National Sports Collectors Convention will be returning to a pair of familiar locations in the coming years and it’s staying in the Midwest for now.
Early Wednesday morning, the NSCC announced the results of a dealer vote on where to hold the show through 2025 and it includes a return to the I-X Center in Cleveland.
The National will remain in its familiar late July-early August time period.
The locations and dates for future sites of the National include:
- 2023 Chicago (Rosemont) Stephens Convention Center July 26-30, 2023
- 2024 Cleveland IX Center July 24-28, 2024
- 2025 Chicago (Rosemont) Stephens Convention Center July 30-August 3, 2025
The I-X Center closed in September of 2020, forcing the National to find another host for this year’s show. That turned out to be Atlantic City, which had been scheduled to host the 2020 event that was canceled because of COVID. After Industrial Realty Group announced plans to take it over, NSCC promoters immediately expressed interest in scheduling a future date for the National.
Cleveland has hosted the show seven times since 1997. The 2023 event will be the 11th held in Rosemont and the 14th time since its 1980 inception that the show will take place in the Chicago area.
News of the 2025 return shows how much the majority of dealers prefer to hold the event in the nation’s third largest city and at a location that’s close to O’Hare Airport.
Multi-day admission packages and general admission tickets for the National will be available in late November.
