You can add two more Gem Mint 10 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan cards to the PSA Population Report.
The company handed that valuable grade to one lucky customer who brought a raw copy to the show on Thursday. They also bumped one card previously graded 9 to a 10 on Wednesday afternoon.
Does it ever get old seeing one of these go from raw to PSA 10? An absolute stunner, now in a slab for the first time. 🤌💎 pic.twitter.com/PIqfVG0ZU2

Those new additions should bring the total of PSA 10 Jordan cards to 321 when the Population Report is updated on Friday.

Vintage cards have been hot tickets at the show.
“Total crazy busy,” is how dealer Craig Halbig described the day of sales, with customers looking through binders and star cards “non- stop” from open to close. He indicated 1960s and early 70s material was moving fast.
Raw cards have been especially popular with the large number of collectors who have been in attendance the first two days.
Some collectors do seem to be put off by the over market price tags affixed to certain cards, especially some pre-War issues.

Parking is scarce in close proximity to the show and cellular/wifi reception has been limited or non-existent for many, making it difficult for those who want or need it. Checking online price comparisons has been a major challenge.

As usual, the card companies offered VIP promo cards and free National exclusive wrapper redemption packs. Topps actually has two different redemption sets. Collectors who buy boxes of the company’s most recent products can take that unopened box to their booth and get a pack that contain cards from a 50-card National exclusive Bowman Chrome Refractor set that’s a mix of current players and prospects.
The quantity of packs you get depends on exactly which Topps products you buy (the more expensive it is, the more packs you get).
There are parallels and autographs in the mix, too. You can see some of what’s been pulled and listed online here.
There’s also a redemption program for the company’s recently released 2021 Bowman Chrome Platinum Anniversary boxes. Buy a box, take it to the Topps booth and you’ll get another pack that has a single 1952-style card of Julio Rodriguez, Bobby Witt Jr., or Spencer Torkelson.
Again, there are parallels and autos to chase. See them here.

As we told you earlier this week, Dave Robinson, who made a key play to push the Packers past the Cowboys and on to Super Bowl I, has consigned both of his Lombardi era rings and other memorabilia to Heritage Auctions. Robinson was at the company’s booth, talking to those who stopped by.
He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013.

After the show ended, a big crowd of mostly younger people got together for the National’s official trade night at the Convention Center. When it began a few years ago, attendance was about three dozen.
