One lucky collector will walk away from this year’s National Sports Collectors Convention with a free 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card.
Once again this year, Mile High Card Company is using a ’52 Mantle has an incentive for collectors to consign items to the company’s upcoming auction.
For each $500 of value consigned to the company’s September auction, you’ll earn one ticket for the drawing. The larger the consignment, the more tickets you’ll receive, but everyone who consigns to MHCC at the National will be entered. The card is rated Authentic/Altered but still has a value of around $10,000.
“Instead of just offering a bonus to the biggest consignor, we wanted every one of our partners to be in on the action,” said MHCC President and CEO Brian Drent. “The ‘52 Topps Mantle is the pinnacle of post-war cards and we want every consignor to at least have a shot at it.”
Mile High will be at booths #333 and #432 inside the IX Center.
The Mantle card will be given away at the MHCC booth on Sunday, August 5 at 3:00 PM. The winner need not be present and a video of the drawing will be featured on Youtube as well as the Mile High Card Company website.

- High-grade PSA and SGC graded cards
- Significant pre-war rarities and memorabilia
- PSA and SGC graded complete sets
- 19th century cards
- Game-used jerseys and bats
- Vintage Type I original photos
- High End autographed items
