He dunks only on video now, but the 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie card remains a must-have for serious basketball collectors. One high grade example has just sold via eBay.
A Beckett-graded 9.5 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie card found a new home on eBay Sunday night, earning the seller a winning bid of over $15,000.
The auction drew 31 bids. A BGS 9.5 Jordan rookie sold for just over $5,000 in July. PSA 10 Jordan rookie cards have settled into the $4500-5500 range.
