A baseball dating from a lengthy winning streak by Hall of Famer Christy Mathewson has been sold for over $91,000.
Yellowed but still vivid, an official National League baseball autographed by Christy Mathewson and inscribed with details of a late-career winning streak brought 18 bids and a realized price of $91,045 early Saturday morning.
