The Colts and an Indianapolis-based company auctioned off the lockers used by several well-known players as part of the sale of items from the RCA Dome, which housed the team until this season.
Manning’s locker sold for over $6,000 but the exact price is a mystery and apparently will remain so.
Normally, companies would be thrilled to report the winning bids on those items, but MainGate apparently isn’t interested. The company told a local radio station it would divulge details "only if the winning bidder agrees".
That’s funny. I didn’t see them refuse to divulge any information when they were trying to drum up publicity for the auction.
