The jersey Kawhi Leonard wore in his first game with Los Angeles Clippers last week is up for sale.
NBA Auctions has launched a listing for the blue shirt Leonard donned against the Lakers on Opening Night of the 2019-20 season.
As of Tuesday afternoon, bidding had surpassed $9,000 with the auction scheduled to run through November 14.
Leonard scored 30 points, dished out five assists, grabbed six rebounds and added two steals and a blocked shot in the Clippers’ 112-102 win at STAPLES Center.
The Icon Edition jersey is a size 52 with six inches of extra length.
Just prior to the October 22 game, MeiGray Group and the Clippers announced a multi-year game-worn jersey deal that will put Clippers jerseys up for sale through MeiGray’s website and the NBA Auctions platform. The Leonard jersey and others sold through MeiGray/NBA Auctions are registered into the NBA and MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program’s database.
During the summer, Leonard’s Toronto Raptors jerseys from Games 1 and 3 of the 2019 NBA Finals sold for just over $50,000 while his Game 4 jersey reached $48,240.
