Leaf Trading Cards has an exclusive autographed trading card contract with the player who could be the NHL’s top 
draft pick next year. The company announced its deal with 17-year-old Nolan Patrick via Beckett on Wednesday.
Patrick has spent two years with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League, scoring 41 goals and dishing out 61 assists in 72 games as Brandon won the league title.
He’s already appeared on numerous Leaf cards during his time in Junior hockey but the new deal means no other company can carry his signed cards in its products.
Leaf signed Buffalo Sabres rookie Jack Eichel to an exclusive autograph contract in September of last year.
