Two complete Kobe Bryant high school basketball uniforms, his 2000 NBA All-Star Game ring, a pair of 2000 Lakers NBA Championship Rings and a rare high school basketball medal awarded to Bryant from Magic’s Roundball Classic are on display at the Newport Sports Museum (100 Newport Center Dr., Newport Beach, CA), from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. for fans and collectors to see.
The items, which are currently being offered at auction thought July 19, by Goldin Auctions were originally consigned by Kobe Bryant’s parents.
Bryant’s 2000 Lakers championship ring has a current high bid of over $55,000. His high school uniforms were at over $23,000 as of Tuesday night.
Half of the winning bid price from four of the items (* noted below) will benefit the BULLY Project. Similarly, the museum benefits four youth outreach programs including Athletes C.A.R.E. for Kids, Career Choices, Sport Yourself and the Legacy Leadership Project. Admittance to the museum is free of charge to all children, regardless of race or socio-economic status.
