Houston-based TriStar Productions has signed an exclusive autograph contract with Ken Griffey Jr.
The company conducted its first private signing session with Griffey earlier this month.
TriStar is offering a line of autographed baseballs, bats, photos and jerseys with prices ranging from $249 to $699. Many include a “HOF 16” inscription along with the autograph, the first time Griffey has used the moniker with his signature. TriStar will add an individually numbered trackable hologram to each signed item.
“Ken Griffey Jr. is one of the most collected players in baseball history. It is humbling to be chosen as the exclusive memorabilia company by someone who I watched in awe play the game of baseball with such grace and power,” said Jeffrey Rosenberg, TriStar President and CEO. “His fans have been clamoring for authenticated memorabilia, especially since his Hall of Fame induction.”
Rosenberg wouldn’t say whether there was a chance his company would host Griffey at one of its future autograph shows.
Earlier this month, TriStar announced an exclusive autograph contract with Astros pitcher Justin Verlander.
