Sports card shops aren’t known for drive-up service but one shop in Pennsylvania had a car inside its building on Monday.
An older woman parked in front of Kel’s Sports Cards in Scott Township near Pittsburgh hit the gas instead of the brake and, well, you probably know what happened next.
Her Toyota sedan crashed through the glass storefront about 2 PM and mowed into some display cases before coming to rest near the back of the shop. The woman wasn’t hurt and neither was anyone inside but the store was heavily damaged and some merchandise was destroyed.

The shop has only been open for about 2 1/2 years.
The story received attention from a couple of Pittsburgh area TV stations and owner Aaron Kellington told KDKA and WPIX the woman gave him a hug and apologized. There was no immediate word on whether she’ll face any charges. Kellington says it could be a few weeks before the store can re-open.
