The city has been home to the Athletics and the Royals. It’s home base for the Negro Leagues Hall of Fame. In the summer, there are few places better to enjoy baseball than the city that sits directly in the nation’s midsection. Over the weekend, some long-time fans brought memorabilia they’ve saved throughout the years to into an appraisal fair.
The Clean Sweep Auction/All Sports Road Show took place at the Truman Sports Complex, offering fans the chance to see what they’re stuff was worth and if they were so inclined, sell it or consign it.
A 1949 autographed KC Blues poster, baseball cards and old autographed baseballs were just some of the items that walked through the door.
