Goldin has signed Julio Rodríguez and Bobby Witt Jr. to new game-used memorabilia deals.
As part of the arrangement with the players’ management agency, Octagon, selected memorabilia will be authenticated and vaulted through Goldin throughout their careers. Proceeds from the sales of items will go to the players’ charities.
Rodríguez will be vaulting and auctioning game-used items including photomatched and signed jerseys from his first career hit, the 2022 MLB All-Star Game, as well as photomatched bats from his first career at-bat and first career home run.
Additional items include bats, jerseys, pants, helmets and more that Rodríguez wore during his landmark MLB All-Star Rookie Year.
Proceeds of the auction, which opens on August 10, will benefit each players’ philanthropic efforts: The “Julio Rodríguez No Limits Foundation” and the “Witt Family Foundation.”
Before being sold, the items will be stored in the PSA Vault in Delaware.
“We are honored to be working with Julio and Bobby to offer the first-ever full-scale memorabilia program that is built to service them throughout their career,” remarked Goldin Founder Ken Goldin.
