A Michael Jordan jersey worn during a game in his last season with the Chicago Bulls, autographed on the back, sold for $360,000 Wednesday night, pacing Goldin’s April Premier Auction.
The jersey was worn by Jordan on Feb. 19, 1998–a road win over the Toronto Raptors and came with a letter from the team. It was photo matched by Resolution Photomatching.
A signed and inscribed LeBron James jersey from the 2014 NBA Finals matchup with the San Antonio Spurs sold for $192,000. The white jersey was photomatched by MeiGray and includes James’ black marker inscription, “LeBron James / vs. Spurs 6/12/14 / Finals GM 4.”
A Kobe Bryant jersey worn in a Lakers Christmas Day win over Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks in 2012 sold for $109,201.
Multiple modern era cards sold for six-figure prices in the sale including the 2022 Panini Prizm World Cup Gold Power Prizm Lionel Messi (#1/1). Graded PSA 10, it netted $218,400.
Two cards of Yankee prospects sold for six-figure prices: the 2020 Bowman Chrome Sapphire Edition Autographs Padparadscha Anthony Volpe 1/1 autograph, graded PSA 10 for both the card and signature, sold for $128,400.
One of the five 2020 Bowman Chrome Prospect Autographs Red Refractor Jasson Dominguez cards graded 10 by BGS sold for $100,800.
The auction also featured the $73,200 sale for the lone SGC 10 copy of Tom Seaver’s 1967 Topps rookie card.
