Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow’s cleats from the 2019 season sold Wednesday night for $31,000 through the All In Challenge auction.
In a video posted on the auction website, Burrow says he wore the cleats in each game of the 2019 season including the national championship game.
Proceeds from the All In Challenge benefit Feeding America, Meals On Wheels, World Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry.
Burrow played two seasons at LSU after transferring from Ohio State. In 2019, he threw for 5,600 yards and an NCAA record 60 TDs. His 202.0 passer rating for the season was also a record.
In LSU’s national championship victory over Clemson, Burrow threw for 463 yards and five touchdowns and ran for another. He was taken number one overall by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2020 draft.
