In a city that hasn’t had a lot of luck lately, James has been a godsend to sports memorabilia shops who sell thousands of his cards each year and enough autographed James jerseys to keep the cash flowing.
Whether he suits up in a Cavs’ uniform again is anyone’s guess, but it’s been a good ride.
One collector has accumulated several of the super premium James rookie cards and is hoping to find buyers so he can save up to put his kids through college when they grow up.
