The Houston Rockets are the hottest team in the NBA right now, having won 17 straight after Wednesday night’s game in Milwaukee. Game-used material worn by James Harden has been pretty hot, too.
A black jersey worn by the Rockets’ guard during the first half this year’s All-Star Game already is deep into four figures at NBA Auctions.
Harden played for Team Steph and scored 12 points in his sixth All-Star Game appearance. His squad lost 148-145 to Team LeBron at the Staples Center, but Harden added eight assists, seven rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot.
Harden continues to excel for the Rockets in a season that will have him in the running for MVP. He leads the NBA in scoring at 31 points per game and almost nine assists. His 223 made three-pointers lead the league by a wide margin.
The jersey in the auction already has topped $6,000 in bidding and will likely reach $10,000 before it closes. It’s a Size 50+4 inches extra length and is registered into the NBA and MeiGray game-worn authentication program. Harden’s pre-game shooting shirt and game-worn shorts from the All-Star Game are also on the block as part of a large offering of game-used items from the annual contest.
Closing date for the auction is March 15 at Auctions.NBA.com.
