If you’ve ever spent time around Wrigley Field in the last 40+ years, you probably have seen Yesterday, a very old school memorabilia and collectibles shop run by Tom Boyle.
Located just a stone’s throw from the outfield fence on Addison Avenue, Yesterday had baseball cards, old yearbooks, programs, magazines, records, political items and more, all jammed into a small shop frequented by fans, the curious and collectors.
Boyle died Monday at age 88.
A friend told WBBM Radio he hopes to keep the shop open for awhile.
