If you’re looking for Allen Iverson memorabilia, it appears as if you can now go right to the source.
The one-time NBA superstar, armed with plenty of raw talent but sometimes unable to fit into a team concept, has apparently partnered with someone to sell game-worn memorabilia and autographs via eBay.
A Newport News, Va. seller with the ID IversonAuthentic3 is currently offering signed game-worn shoes, warmups, autographed photos and other items through an eBay store.
Iverson made over $100 million in the NBA and is now playing in Turkey but some insiders have told NBA bloggers that he’s low on money.
The auctions on eBay began last month. A pair of Iverson’s game-worn shorts sold this week for $150 while two pairs of warm-up pants he once donned as a Denver Nugget, went for $69.99.
Among the current items on the block are a 2009-10 76ers game jersey, the “Spiderman” arm sleeves and wristbands with “The Answer” printed on them, several pairs of game and practice-worn shoes. You can buy an Iverson signed 8×10 photo for just $21 while a 16×20 runs $50.
He’s also offering a Michael Jordan game-worn White Sox jersey from MJ’s foray into baseball, with an asking price of $17,999 .
