Gordie Howe has sued two former associates, saying they misappropriated hundreds of thousands of dollars from his marketing company and defamed him by saying his company was financially troubled.
And yes, Mr. Hockey is now one away from a 2007 lawsuit hat trick.
Hockey legend Gordie Howe sued his neighbors for harrassing him earlier this year. Now, the Detroit Red Wings icon is going after two former staff members.
Howe is accusing two former managers and a celebrity merchandise company of taking financial records and stealing money from his company in the form of book sales, autographed memorabilia and revenue from Howe’s appearances.
The two men resigned from Power Play International in May 2006, taking hundreds of thousands of dollars with them, according to the suit filed in Oakland County Circuit Court.
