There aren’t many forms of sports collecting that involve fans all over the world but every four years, you can count on one event to make it happen. It’s a pursuit that’s been around for decades: Collecting World Cup stickers.
No matter the year, collectors looking to complete their Panini World Cup sticker sets on eBay often chase some of the same elusive players.
In 2018, the number of stickers per pack was reduced from seven to five, making it noticeably more difficult to complete the set. Forty or more years ago, fewer people were participating making those stickers a real challenge to find these days. Even the vintage albums can be a challenge.
