Two charitable organizations will benefit from the one-of-a-kind red jerseys worn by the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets.
It was a big "thanks" to Oklahoma City for helping house the NBA’s New Orleans Hornets since Hurricane Katrina.
The club wore red jerseys on Valentine’s Day, then auctioned them off for the American Heart Association and team charities.
Bidders paid over $22,000 for the jerseys signed by Chris Paul, David West and others. That was better than the league got during it’s own auction of NBA All Star jerseys.
