Topps has again teamed up with Walmart for late season product. The 2019 Topps Holiday Mega Boxes will be exclusive to the retail giant.
2019 Topps Holiday Mega Box Basics and Base Set
Each Mega box ($22.48) contains ten packs with ten cards in each pack. Every box will contain five Metallic Holiday parallel cards and one relic, autograph relic or autograph guaranteed.
The checklist has been released (see below) and includes a 200-card base set. Pete Alonso, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Fernando Tatis Jr., Cavan Biggio, Keston Hiura and Austin Riley are among the rookies in the set. Some in-season trades and player movement is being reflected including Trevor Bauer (Reds), Zack Greinke (Astros) and Billy Hamilton (Braves).
Cards carry the basic 2019 Topps Baseball flagship design but with a holiday touch: red and green holly leaves and other white, snow-brushed looking art. New this year will be short-printed holiday variations at three different levels of scarcity.
Last week, Topps tweeted out what appear to be some of those holiday variations, but hasn’t released any confirmed images to this point.

Relics and Autographs
Relic cards will come in a few different forms: traditional relics, Holiday Relics and Faux Holiday Relics, which will probably be more holiday-oriented than anything associated with a player. Material for the Holiday Relics will come from Santa hats that players wore during Spring Training photo sessions.
Traditional relics and Holiday relics will have autographed versions with a fairly solid checklist of big name players.
Forty different players appear on the list of possible standard (non-relic) autographs.
