A big crowd turned out Saturday for the opening of a sports card shop just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati.
Hit Seekers, which has been breaking online for about two years, held its grand opening in Fort Mitchell, KY.

The physical shop is a rebirth of sorts. The owners used to operate Planet Collectibles in nearby Florence.
During Saturday’s grand opening, Hit Seekers offered free packs to kids and other giveaways along with the chance to buy a variety of products and single cards.

The breaking business is also located on site, with activity happening day and night.
Customers lined up outside before the doors opened and were treated to what owner Greg Rouse says is a “modern style” sports card shop with unopened boxes and packs, single cards, the chance to drop cards off for grading and….beer.
Rouse and son Jake are the co-founders of Braxton Brewing, one of Cincinnati’s largest craft breweries, and have a license to sell beer inside the shop. The brewery is right next door.
They attracted some media attention, including this story from Fox19’s Drew Amman, who was there as the crowd surged in.
