Over 3,900 items, including a PSA 9 1955 Topps Roberto Clemente rookie card, are scheduled to go on the block Thursday as Robert Edward Auctions rolls out its Spring Auction.
The last PSA 9 Clemente Rookie sold for $1.05 million last fall.
The auction also features several other notable classic cards cards in high grades, including Jackie Robinson’s 1949 Bowman (PSA MINT 9), a PSA 9 1955 Topps Sandy Koufax rookie, Bill Russell’s 1957 Topps rookie (PSA NM+ 7.5), and Jim Brown’s 1958 Topps rookie (SGC NM/MT+ 8.5).
Among the memorabilia is an early Babe Ruth single signed baseball rated 8.5 by PSA with a Mint 9 signature, a single signed 1921 Christy Mathewson baseball dating to the 1921 testimonial game at the Polo Grounds, a 1940s Josh Gibson Type 1 photo and a circa 1913 Type 1 Joe Jackson photo by Charles Conlon.
Cards, historic photos, unopened boxes, signed and game-used memorabilia and rare graded game tickets are among the various types of memorabilia scattered throughout the catalog.

REA President Brian Dwyer calls it one of the largest in company history.
REA will be co-hosting a pop-up event at the Just Collect shop in Millburn, NJ (296 Millburn Ave – Ste 102), on Thursday, April 13 and Friday, April 14 from 5-9 PM ET both days. Visitors will have an opportunity to view items, place bids and chat with the REA and Just Collect teams, along with other collectors.
Auction bidding is set to open Thursday at noon Eastern time on the company’s website. Bidding runs through Sunday, April 23.
