Winning bidders in a fund-raising auction can be the guest of former Dallas Cowboys star Emmitt Smith when he’s inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in August, spend two days at the 2011 Masters with Smith or attend The Dancing With The Stars finale with he and his wife in May, among other fantasy lots.
Proceeds from the May 14 auction conducted by Heritage Auction Galleries of Dallas, Texas (HA.com) will benefit a charitable foundation established by Smith and his wife.
Heritage Auction Galleries is teaming up with Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities as an official event sponsor of the inaugural Emmitt Smith Celebrity Invitational, May 14-15, at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas. Heritage will provide auction support, an auctioneer and broadcast the auction portion live on its Heritage LIVE! bidding platform at HA.com for a special live Fantasy Auction during the Friday evening festivities.
Register as a member at HA.com, and watch the auction live on Friday, May 14, at HA.com/EmmittSmith. All proceeds from the special fantasy auction go to benefit Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities, which is driven to create educational experiences and enrichment opportunities for underserved children.
The five special lots include: An Emmitt Smith Hall of Fame Fantasy, August 7-8, 2010 in Canton, Ohio; Dancing with the Stars Finale Fantasy, May 23-24, 2010 in Los Angeles, CA; Cowboy Legends Poker Fantasy Del Frisco’s, Dallas, Date TBD; NYC Fall Fashion Week Fantasy Hosted by Tina Craig, “The Bag Snob” September 12 – 15, 2010 New York City, NY; Master’s Golf Dream Fantasy Date: April 6-10, 2011 Augusta, GA.
All lots are being offered without reserves.

Smith, who will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this summer, announced The Celebrity Charity Golf & Poker Tournament in a press conference on Tuesday, April 13, at Heritage Auction Galleries’ Design District Annex at 1518 Slocum Street. The NFL’s all-time leading rusher and his wife, Pat, have long been focused on the philanthropic efforts in the Dallas area as well as nationwide.

The Inaugural Emmitt Smith Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament will take place at TPC Craig Ranch on May 14-15, 2010. Festivities will include a VIP Invitation-only Red Carpet Pairings Party, Live Auction of Once-in-a-Lifetime Fantasy Experiences and a Celebrity Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament on May 14. The private Celebrity Pro-Am Style Golf Tournament will take place on May 15.
