A special night at Fenway Park saw some Hall of Famers help accept some artifacts headed for Cooperstown.
It’s already been a history-making season at Fenway Park.
Among the highlights: Jon Lester’s no-hitter and Manny Ramirez joining the 500 home run club.
It’s all of major interest to the Baseball Hall of Fame, which brought some famous former Red Sox players back to Boston to help kick off a special memorabilia exhibit and accept some pieces of game worn equipment and game used baseballs to commemorate some of those historic moments.
It’s a thrill for the ex-players to be back on the field and fun for the current crop to see a little slice of their career head for Cooperstown.
