There are over 3,000 items in Goldin’s current auction and while not all of them revolve around basketball, but the big ticket lots are garnering plenty of attention as the NBA season heads toward its conclusion.
The auction includes items from some players still in the hunt for the 2021-22 title and others from those who’ve already won a few.
“The impact that a championship ring has on the value of collectibles is tangible and we’ve got some incredible items in this auction featuring guys fighting for a championship right now,” said Goldin’s Executive Chairman and Founder Ken Goldin.
The auction is headlined by several key rookie cards including 2003-04 LeBron James Exquisite Rookie Patch Autograph, a 2018-19 Panini National Treasures Luka Doncic signed patch card and a PSA 10 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie card. Bidding on all three surpassed the six-figure mark within the first 48 hours of the auction’s launch. A 2017-18 National Treasures Jayson Tatum 1st Off the Line RPA (#15/15) had blown past the $50,000 level.
Cards from other sports include a 2002 Topps Super Bowl XXXVI MVP Tom Brady Auto (#87/150), a 2020 Panini National Treasures Stars & Stripes Justin Herbert RPA (#12/20) and a 2017-18 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Rookie Tandem Shields Connor McDavid/Leon Draisaitl Dual NHL Logo Patch (#2/2),
