Jerseys and shoes worn by some of basketball’s biggest icons will find new homes this month. Goldin Auctions has brought a pile of valuable NBA gamers to its current catalog.
The headliner is an autographed and inscribed Bill Russell home Celtics jersey, photo-matched to Game 7 of the 1966 NBA Finals. Bidding had already reached $290,000 less than 24 hours after bidding had begun.
Also up for grabs is a 1971-72 Julius Erving rookie year jersey and shorts from his debut season with the ABA’s Virginia Squires. The jersey is autographed on front and back.
