Dozens of retired NFL players are making the pilgrimage to Canton, Ohio for this weekend’s Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony. While they appreciate the chance to catch up with former teammates and opponents, they’re also there to help out the league’s favorite charities.
It costs the league six figures but they’ll make a lot more.
The league will collect autographs from dozens of players and then put the items up on the NFL Auctions website, raising money for NFL Charities, including a benefit fund for needy ex-players. Read the story at NFL.com.
