Florida in March is heaven for baseball fans.
But then, Chuck Jewett is in baseball heaven every day.
The retired bank executive makes his home in Bradenton, which has a long history of spring training baseball.
Jewett has memorabilia dating back decades and it’s now on display at the local library. He has everything from T206 cards to autographed baseballs and other vintage baseball items. Much of what he purchased came cheap, thanks to a sharp eye when scouring local flea markets and garage sales.
The local newspaper stopped in for a visit–and brought their video camera for a little show and tell.
