Reuben Lewin’s trip the National Sports Collectors Convention was like something out of Planes, Trains and Automobiles, but he didn’t let a little transportation trouble diminish his enthusiasm. The Northern Arizona college student spends his spare time buying and selling sports cards and he and his father decided 2013 was the right time to set up a table at the National.
Relegated to the far corner of the room at the lowest price point ($1,000 for a simple, angled two-table set up), the owner of Grand Canyon Cards was hoping for a big turnout.
He also shared some comments on why Arizona is fertile ground for buying cards.
