The first Ben Simmons playoff jersey to hit the auction block is expected to sell for a five-figure price.
NBA Auctions is offering the Size 46 shirt from Game 5 of the Philadelphia 76ers’ first round clincher over Miami. The current high bid is $7,560.
A jersey from Simmons’ first NBA regular season game sold in November for $35,020 and another from the Rising Stars Challenge during All-Star weekend went for $21,050 earlier this spring.
The playoff jersey now at auction has a patch on the left shoulder in memory of late 76ers’ star and Hall of Fame member Hal Greer.
Simmons recorded a Double-Double in the game, with 14 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals and a blocked shot as the Sixers advanced to the second round. He’s the favorite to win Rookie of the Year.
Bidding continues through May 24.
