Field of Dreams, the first national chain of sports memorabilia retail stores, has been sold to a wholly-owned subsidiary of TRISTAR Productions. Included in the purchase are the flagship store at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas along with the Stars Live 365 autograph appearance business and four other retail shops located in Texas and Minnesota.
Field of Dreams has been in business for more than 20 years.
TRISTAR operates the autograph pavilion at the National Sports Collectors Convention, hosts private signings, sells trading cards and conducts card shows. The company recently expanded its industry presence with the opening of a new sports memorabilia shop inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
“It is very exciting to bring our expertise in sports and entertainment memorabilia to the Field of Dreams brand of retail stores,” said TRISTAR President Jeff Rosenberg. “We look forward to a new beginning.”
Field of Dreams features authentic, autographed memorabilia and unsigned collectibles of big name athletes past and present including Babe Ruth, Michael Jordan, Joe Montana, Wayne Gretzky and many others.
“We are pleased to hand over our Field of Dreams operations to such a capable and experienced team at TRISTAR,” said Ross Tannenbaum, President and CEO of Dreams, Inc., the Florida company that has operated Field of Dreams for the past several years. “We know they will bring the same passion and commitment to the operations that our customers have been enjoying for more than 20 years.”
In addition to its Las Vegas location, Field of Dreams stores are located in Houston, Dallas, and Frisco, TX and at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.
