No, you won’t be able to take in a game after it’s over, but you can buy some baseball cards at Fenway Park later this month.
The first annual Fenway Card Show is planned for the ballpark, with dozens of dealers and service providers setting up shop at the iconic, old ballfield.
The show is being produced by Big Night and Fenway Sports Management. It’s set for May 14 and 15. Show hours are 9 AM to 5 PM both days.
The location of the show is inside 521 Overlook, a new, 7,600-square-foot event space that “offers sweeping views of Fenway Park.” It’s located above the equally new Truly Terrace, an 8,800-square-foot open-air concourse space located at the back of the right field bleacher seats.
“521 Overlook” is a nod to Ted Williams, who hit 521 homers for the Red Sox during his career.
Promoters promise a wide variety of sports cards and memorabilia along with what they say is “a curated assembly of over 100 collectors, dealers, exhibitors, manufacturers, licensors, hobby heavyweights, and industry innovators from all over the world.”
There is a $20 admission fee to the card show. Dealer tables were priced at $350.
The Red Sox will be on the road that weekend, taking on the Texas Rangers.
