As 2024 Topps Series 1 rolled out on Wednesday, more information on the autographed memorabilia that’s part of the Fanatics exclusive blaster boxes arrived with it.
As part of its effort to drive sales, Fanatics has dipped into its inventory of signed items and is offering them to collectors who pull special redemption cards from the nine-pack boxes.
Signed baseballs and jerseys from 29 different players are available. There’s also a dual signed baseball from Riley Greene and Spencer Torkelson of the Detroit Tigers.
Among the jerseys that are part of the promotion are those signed by Julio Rodriguez, Jordan Walker, Bobby Witt Jr., Dansby Swanson, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Mike Yastrzemski, Randy Arozarena and Carlton Fisk. Most of the redemptions are for signed baseballs, with Shoehei Ohtani, Corbin Carroill, Aaron Judge, Bryce Harper, Matt Olson, Adley Rutschman, Pete Alonso, Mookie Betts, Johnny Bench, Rod Carew and Bill Mazeroski among the posibilities. The only signed photo that’s part of the promotion is that of Miguel Cabrera.
According to Fanatics, the autographed memorabilia redemptions fall once in every 251 boxes. Those who find one in a pack need to enter their information online to receive the item.
The boxes carry 12 cards per pack, consisting of ten base cards, one Stars of MLB insert and one Aqua parallel. They’re $29.99 and available via this page on the company’s website.
