Two LeBron James Upper Deck Exquisite rookie patch autographed cards have now sold in the last several days with an average price of nearly $20,000 each.
Upper Deck’s Exquisite line is aimed at high rollers. High priced packs can sometimes yield some high priced cards, though.
A 2003-04 LeBron James BGS 9.5 graded autographed patch card sold on eBay over the weekend for $21,000. 26 bids were made for the card, which was described by the seller as "the absolute best on the market". It’s one of two graded BGS 9.5 according to the seller.
A 2003-04 James #20 of 23 autographed patch card was snapped up for nearly $19,000 last Wednesday night. Mile High Card Company of Colorado was the seller. The buyer appears legit. 16 bids were entered for that James card.
A Dwyane Wade card from the same Exquisite set went for $8000 last Tuesday, sold by the buyer who bought the latter LeBron card. .A few other Exquisite sales on eBay from the last couple of months:
