Avon Fogelman once owned the Kansas City Royals, making deals with the likes of George Brett and Babe Ruth over the years.
Fogelman’s name came to mean something different to auction houses and memorabilia dealers. He was–and still is– a wealthy connoisseur of baseball memorabilia.
Fogelman has quietly pieced together an amazing collection of items that had a connection to his life in sports, but with he and his wife set to move into smaller quarters, the museum-like room at his home in Memphis, Tennessee is about to be emptied.
